Pastor Jeffrey Gambrell is described as an excellent leader with a servant’s heart. His faithful service to God translates through his love and service to his family, church congregations and his students. Pastor Gambrell is a teacher by profession, but has an undeniable gift as a teacher of the scriptures. Pastor Gambrell, a teacher and student of the Word himself shared that his favorite scriptures include; Ephesians 4:11-12, “And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ” and Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
Pastor Gambrell shared that at the tender age of 12 years old, in July 1977 he received the Lord as his personal savior, while attending Neighborhood Baptist Church— Philadelphia, PA, under the leadership of Reverend William Gambrell. In 1985, Pastor Jeffrey Gambrell married his childhood sweetheart Yvonne Bullock. They have been married for more than thirty-four years. From their union, God has blessed them with four wonderful children and nine beautiful grandchildren.
Pastor Jeffrey Gambrell has served in many capacities in ministry alongside his wife and family. With a servant’s heart, you might have spotted him standing-in as an usher, musician, choir director, parking crew and armor-bearer. Pastor Gambrell & Lady Yvonne Gambrell are team players and don’t mind serving at the Lord’s pleasure.
In November 1992, under the leadership of the late Presiding-Prelate Bishop Vander D. Purcell, Sr. of Sanctuary Deliverance Churches of the Living Word Inc., Pastor Gambrell was called into ministry. He received his first assignment in 1997 as an Assistant Pastor of Sanctuary Deliverance—Albemarle, NC.
In 2001, Pastor Gambrell accepted a new assignment as Senior Pastor of The United Evangelistic Church in Henderson, NC under the leadership of Bishop Charles Williams. During his tenure as Pastor of United Evangelistic Church, God directed Pastor Gambrell to start the Word of Truth radio broadcast. In June of 2006, Pastor Gambrell heard the voice of God instructing him to start the ministry of Word of Truth Deliverance Fellowship Church. The Gambrells have been faithfully serving the city of Greensboro, NC and surrounding areas for over fourteen years and counting.
In October of 2016, Pastor Gambrell accepted an assignment to be Senior Pastor of God’s Deliverance For All People in Raeford, NC. This transition was as a result of an answered prayer and divine design by God. Pastor Gambrell soon began commuting between the two ministries. When asked, Pastor Gambrell says that it is a great honor to serve both congregations.
Pastor Jeffrey Gambrell’s vision is to encourage partnership among believers in the fulfillment of the Great Commission—winning souls for Jesus Christ. God has gifted Pastor Gambrell with revelation of His word, particularly for the present times in which we live. He is dedicated to the call of God on his life and hopes to inspire others to do the same. With a humble heart and spirit, Pastor Gambrell presents the “Ministry of the Word” assigned to his hands.
Pastor Rosa McAllister-McRae is a world-traveling missionary and change agent sent into the earth for such a time as this. She’s very personable with a magnetic spirit and a contagious laugh that makes everyone feel relaxed in her presence. Pastor McRae is an overall joy to be around, but she carries a deep respect for the word of God and the teachings of Jesus Christ. She is a prayer warrior, which comes at no surprise as she’s the daughter of our ministry’s founder; Evangelist Helen McAllister and our late Pastor Hosia McAllister. She has been married for over twenty-two years to Minister Terry McRae and is the mother of a son and daughter and grandmother of two.
Pastor Rosa McRae serves not only our church, but community in so many capacities. She’s a champion for education and has directly inspired many of our members to continue their education. As an active member of Hoke County’s board of education, Pastor Rosa McAllister-McRae has had the great opportunity to place the diploma in the hands of our youth for over a decade. She finds great pleasure in sharing in the accomplishments of our members by being present and active, not just in our ministry, but in their everyday lives.
Pastor McRae serves with excellence and is very dependable. She has served in local, district and national roles in Sanctuary Deliverance Churches of the Living Word Inc. for years. She shared that a few notable years of service in ministry would include her time as active Youth Director in our local ministry, as well as District Youth Director for Sanctuary Deliverance Churches Inc. She has also served as District Drama Director, SDC Bishop Advisory Board, SDC National Scholarship Committee and continues to serve as SDC District Treasurer and Vice Chair of SDC National Program Committee. Pastor Rosa McRae is also currently serving in a number of departments. She further serves as our ministry’s Church Administrator.
Pastor Rosa McAllister-McRae shared a memorable sermon from one of her mission’s trips to South Africa. She traveled with the Gerald Mayhan Ministry in 2011 and sums up her encounter as a “wonderful experience.” The mission’s schedule included a daily morning devotional time and each missionary would take turns sharing the goodness of God’s word. Pastor McRae shared with the South Africans a devotion entitled “Chosen.” She explained that while we have carnal things in our lives and in our hearts, God still chooses us. Her devotional was supported by 2nd Thessalonians 2:13-14 “But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth: Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Pastor Rosa McAllister-McRae’s spiritual focus is to make disciples! She hopes to inspire and influence the believer and non-believer’s view of God. She highlights the importance of preaching and teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ; not being limited to the past non-biblical traditional beliefs and doctrines. Pastor McRae teaches that faith is our positive response to what we believe God has already done and provided. She believes that faith only appropriates what God has already provided by grace. This is her greatest hope for the body of Christ.
Pastor Tammy Chaney is a tremendous gift to the people she loves. She’s devoted to everything she does as a daughter, mother to her son and grandmother of her grandson. In addition, she honors her role as a sister, friend and cousin, just to name a few, but when asked, Pastor Tammy defines herself as a student of God’s Word. She’s a natural encourager and inspires many through her love and service to God. She has a special gift for ministry to singles, young adults and women, but Pastor Tammy is armed with a relevant word for all in every season of life.
Although she has a number of favorite scriptures, some of her most coveted scriptures include; Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me” and Romans 8:13, “What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?” She disclosed that most of the scripture she holds dear helped her through hard seasons in her life. You might find Pastor Chaney boldly professing “I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living”(Psalm 27:13). She may also support that scripture by confessing; “Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us”(Romans 8:37); “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us”(Romans 5:8).
Pastor Chaney has faithfully served God’s Deliverance for over 21 years. Throughout the years, Pastor Chaney has served in various capacities to include, but not limited to; Youth President and Sunday School Secretary. In March 2007, Pastor Chaney was called into ministry and preached her initial sermon, entitled “Having Great Confidence, I Won’t Stand in God’s Way”. She then served on the ministerial staff of the church, until she was ordained as an Elder in July 2018 and installed as Assistant Pastor in July of 2019. In addition to serving on the Pastoral staff, Pastor Tammy Chaney continues to serve the ministry at God’s Deliverance in many appointments, to include; Church Finance Secretary, Singles’ Ministry President, Adult Sunday School Teacher, Youth Leader and Worship Leader.
Pastor Chaney’s earnest desire is to please God and help others to reach their full potential in God and in the things of God. Pastor Chaney hopes that the members of God’s Deliverance, as well as the Body of Christ will tap into every gift that God has for them and live to bring honor, glory and praise to God as Christ Representers.
